Frequently Asked Questions

What is ExamGiant?

ExamGiant is an educational competition hub where students of all ages can participate in fun, challenging, and educational tournaments. We offer both for-profit and non-profit events, helping learners gain recognition, prizes, and even scholarships.

Who can participate in the competitions?

Our competitions are open to students around the world. Some events may have age or grade-level requirements, which will be stated in the tournament details.

Why do you create competitions for non-profits and for-profits?

Education in America is declining—we’re currently ranked 16th globally, and slipping. One reason is that standards are often being lowered to ensure more students graduate, rather than raising students up to meet higher expectations. At Exam Giant, we aim to reverse that trend by identifying and uplifting students who truly care about learning—regardless of their family’s income level. For nonprofit competitions, we partner with corporations to provide meaningful support to underprivileged students. We ask that they fund free entries for students on free or reduced lunch programs. Specifically, for every $2 competition entry, we ask them to cover five free entries per student. That means if a company donates $100,000 and each entry costs $2, we would allocate 10,000 students to receive five free entries each (10,000 × $10 = $100,000). Additional entries from paying students can increase the total prize pool—ensuring that talent and hard work are rewarded fairly while expanding opportunity across socioeconomic lines.

How much does it cost to enter a competition?

Most competitions have a small entry fee (e.g., $1-$2), but we also offer sponsored free events. Check the tournament listing for specific pricing and scholarship-funded spots.

Are the competitions safe and secure?

Yes. We use secure connections, protect user data, and follow all applicable privacy guidelines. We also use verification for winners to prevent cheating and ensure fairness.

Can I donate to support students or tournaments?

While we are a for-profit company, we have a sister company that is a non-profit. STEM Is Your Future, Inc. is a fiscally sponsored project under Group 36, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. ! You can Donate here. You can also donate to any of the non-profits listed Donate here.

Why are some tournament prizes fixed and some grow?

Our fixed tournaments are sponsored by for-profit companies who may earn a profit if enough participants enter. Tournaments that are sponsored by non-profits will grow with every entry.

Do I have to submit a photo or video?

Yes, if you participate in official tournaments. We may ask for a photo during registration and reserve the right to record audio/video during competitions for verification and fairness. Practice mode does not require this.

Can companies host their own competitions?

Yes! We welcome non-profit and for-profit organizations to host their own contests using our platform. Contact us for more information.
